GRAND OPENING PROMOTIONS!!!
Saturday July 24th We had a great turn out. THank you everyone for coming down. A big congratulations to all our new promotions. Thank you and a great job to everyone.

GRAND OPENING RESCHEDULED!!
Saturday July 24th from 12:00 - 4:00, we will be having our official Maxum BJJ Grand Opening.
Special guests from our team (Team Serra and Serra-Longo) and training partners will be joining us teaching and celebrating.
This is our time to have our academy get together. 12:00 starts the BJJ seminar. We will have refreshements, promotions, pictures, etc. at 2:00. Don't miss it.
Learn some amazing BJJ techniques from our teams black belts. Don't miss this invitation for the opportunity to learn from some of the best.

PROMOTIONS!!
January 20th, Steve Brennan recieved his blue belt. We conducted class slightly different that evening, and while during the beginning of the class,
he joined the rank of blue belt. Steve has come very far since last year. Especially with his takedowns.
The hard work has paid off. Congratulations acheiving the rank of blue belt.

December 22nd, Nick Marrone recieved his blue belt. Nick joined us in early 2009 after training at previous academies. He has continued his studies with Maxum BJJ, and training very hard.
Nick has been very dedicated and every aspect of his BJJ game is very technical. Always seeking further knowledge.
We are very happy to have Nick with us and acheiving the rank of blue belt. Congratulations!

Wednesday 7/8, Tommy Leuschner recieved his blue belt. While working with one of the new students, Tommy was suprised with being whipped into blue belt. Tommy has put in a lot
of hard work, and shown great dedication to the art. He has been showing great technique and knowledge of BJJ. Job well done joining the ranks of blue belt. Congratulations!

Wednesday 6/24, Steve Humin "Big Steve" recieved his purple belt. Steve was welcomed into the rank of purple belt with a big old fasion "Running the gauntlet" on Wednesday night.
And an awesome show of support from the team, coming down for his promotion. Steve has shown great dedication, always training, always on the mat. Always looking for new things to work on. Steve has gotten super techniqual over a short period and applies it live.
We're very proud of his accomplishment. Congratulations! (And who brought in the candy???) PICS OF THE NIGHT COMING SOON!
CONNETQUOT HIGH SCHOOL SEMINAR!!
Thursday 6/4, Maxum BJJ did a seminar at Connetquot High School. We were able to meet a great group of kids and they all did a great job.
We would like to thank Bret Jefares at Connetquot for making this happen. As well as all the kids for coming down and trying out Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Special thanks to some of the
Maxum students and friends for helping out. Steve, Kyle, Jake, and Jenna.

Friday 5/29, Charlie Raimond recieved his blue belt. Charlie climbed up to blue belt quickly, and is doing excellent. Congratulations!

This Friday 1/23 at Serra BJJ, Huntington Academy, Joe "Slapshot" Kolm has recieved 4th degree purple belt. Good job Joe! Well deserved.
This Saturday 1/17 at Maxum BJJ, we had some promotions after a long day.
- Steve "Hanz" Humin, a blue belt originally under Renzo Gracie officially received his blue belt diploma as well as 2 degrees on his blue belt.
Steve's been training very hard and is constantly improving his bjj game. Congratulations Steve!!
- Anthony Snoble, received his blue belt. He's officially Maxum's 1st blue belt. Anthony has put a lot of time on the mat training, drilling tequnique,
and has payed off. Congratulations Anthony!!
- Steve "Franz" Wilkenson, received 2 degrees on his white belt. Steve was one of our 1st students when we opened. He has worked very hard learning the art,
and doing extremely well. Keep up the hard work. Congratulations Steve!!
